Hello there, readers!
I am just going to be honest with you. The reason I took a break from the Twitter, writing and Facebook and just connecting with all you wonderful people is because of a personal thing.
I have anxiety, and it was getting so bad that I couldn't do anything. Not even being home helped, I couldn't stand it, and going places was awful and I hated it. I am doing amazingly better now, and I have meds now that are helping me get through this. But even after the meds started working, I still had a tinge of anxiety left, and I couldn't even get on Twitter and talk to any of you. I would get on there and get overwhelmed by all the tweets and all the things I had to do. But, summer started today, and I am determined to be on more and to interact with you and jump back into things, and I know that God will help me through all of this, and I miss you all a whole lot.
The Two Rings series is finished, and that really took some stress off of me. The Storm Saga is still in the works, I had big plans for it, but I'm not sure when I will be able to finish writing the fourth book, and then the fifth. But two books are already written and I will do my best to get them all edited for you as soon as I am up to it.
STARS is still going to be in the making, there might be a publishing deal in there somewhere, if things work out. So I will let you all know about that as soon as I can! I know if I had someone publishing it for me, and editing it for me, it would really unstress my life, and things would go a whole lot smoother.
As of right now, I am back on Twitter and I am very excited to be back with you all! I apologize for the break, and I hope you forgive me. :)
Happy Summer everyone!

Taking a break
Hello there lovely readers!
I am writing this blog post to inform you that I won't be on social media very much. As you probably have noticed, I haven't been much on as of late. Just here and there, I'm having trouble focusing on so many things as once lately, so it's been hard to update you all and write and read and all that.
But rest assured, I will continue to write when I can, and to edit when I can. Summer is coming and it's going to be a busy one but I'm excited for it!
I will still be lingering on Twitter, since it's connected with my phone. So send me stuff on there, and I'll be able to get it. :)
Thank you all so much for being so awesome!

DIVIDE {Blog Tour - Simple Showcase}
From senior class president to dejected social outcast, with just the flick of a match.
After accusations of torching her ex-boyfriend’s home are followed by the mysterious poisoning of her ex-best friend, seventeen-year-old Holland Briggs assumes her life is over. And it is. But not in the way she thinks.
As Holland learns the truth about her cursed fate—that she is descended from the Beast most have only ever heard of in fairytales—she unites with an unlikely ally, good-looking newcomer Mick Stevenson.
Mick knows more about Holland’s twisted history than she does, and enlightening as it is to learn about, his suggestion for a cure is unsettling at best. Holland must fall in love with Mick in order to break the spell, and save their future generations from repeating her cursed fate. Having sworn off love after the betrayals of her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend, this may be difficult to accomplish.
Complicating things further for Holland and Mick, time runs out, and Holland’s change begins way before schedule. With Holland quickly morphing into a dangerous mythical creature, Mick struggles to save her.
Should they fail, Holland will be lost to the beast inside her forever.
I am very excited to read this book!
Jessa Russo believes in fairytales, ghosts, and Jake Ryan. She insists mimosas were created for Sundays, and that’s not up for discussion. She’s obsessed with the great city of New Orleans—where she’s collected too many beads to count, eventually married her sweetheart, and visited graveyards they don’t include on maps.
She’s loud, painfully honest, and passionate about living life to the fullest, because she’s seen how abruptly it can be taken away.
What began as a desire for reading and writing young adult paranormal has bled into stories of all kinds. From fantasy to pre-dystopian to erotic contemporary, Jessa’s stories always include romance, though she’s given up on pigeonholing her work into a category or genre box.
Jessa was born and raised in Southern California, and remains there to this day with her husband (a classic car fanatic), their daughter (a Tim Burton superfan), and a Great Dane who thinks he’s the same size as his Chihuahua sister.
ENTWINED, the final installment of Russo’s Ever Trilogy, will be released late 2014, as well as an erotic romance written under a pseudonym. Stay tuned!

Our Future is out!
Good morning and happy Friday, readers! Today marks a special day.
OUR FUTURE, the last book in the Two Rings series is out into the world. This day marks the day that I successfully finished a series. I am very happy.
Pearl Underwood just wants it all to be over. She escaped the OverShadowers, and Adskhan. But not without a price. She’s still Fastened to him, and the memory of what he did to her haunts her. Giving her nightmares, and not even being able to say his name. The only thing that seems to be holding her together is, Max. She tries to learn more about her powers, keep them balanced. It keeps her sane, keeps her hoping for a better future. But she still feels like she belongs nowhere, even in the place with all the other people like her.
Max just wants Pearl to be herself again. Adskhan took everything from her, and all that’s left of his Pearl is an empty shell. He wants to be there for her, holds her when she cries, and tries to make everything better. But when his brother says that it’s time tostart gathering the Hybrids again, he knows he has to leave her. He knows that Adskahn will come for her again, and when he’s suddenly thrust into being head of the Hybrids, Max faces his biggest challenge yet.
Will Pearl and Max be able to get past all their fears and worries and be together? Or will those who took everything get what they finally want?

“Mortal

be missed.”
Jennifer L. Armentrout, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author
In Kalin Matthew's world, elementals control the forces of nature. They are divided into four courts: air, woodland, fire, and water. At sixteen she will leave the life she's built with her mortal mother. Kalin will move to Avalon to rule with her father—the elemental king of the air court. Along the way, she's attacked by a fire court assassin and saved by Rowan, a swoon-worthy elemental with a questionable past.
Worst of all, she learns her father is missing.
To rescue him, Kalin will have to work with a judgmental council and a system of courts too busy accusing each other of deceit to actually be able to help her. But, they aren’t her biggest challenge. With the Midwinter’s Ball only five days away, Kalin must take over her father’s duties, which includes shifting control of the elements—power Kalin has yet to realize.
As Rowan attempts to train her, a war looms between the four courts. If Kalin fails, her father will die and the courts will fall, but the betrayal she’s about to uncover may cost her even more...

Sixteen-year-old Rowan has spent most of his life living among the mortals—learning to control the element of fire, impatiently awaiting the day his vengeful mother, Queen Prisma, will abdicate her throne. Kill Kalin, the half-human, half-elemental daughter of the air court king.
Willing to do anything to remove his mother from power, he agrees to sacrifice the halfling. He returns to the mortal world with his best friend, Marcus, determined to kill the princess. But as he devises a plan, he starts to question whether or not he's capable of completing such a heinous task. And what price he will pay if he refuses?

NEWS : Stars
Happy Monday everyone! It's raining here, a gloomy kind of rain. I feel sorry for Matthew, whatever is troubling him today.
I'm just going to jump right in:
I have some news concerning STARS, my YA standalone. Previously, I said it would come out late this year. But, since it is a long book, and I really want it to be edited and perfect as much is can for you, I have decided that it will be released in the Spring of 2015.
I know, I know. It's a LONG time from now, and I'm sad too. But I want this book to be the best it can be for all of you, so you'll love it as much as I do. I have some amazingly awesome editors and BETA's working on it, and I'm excited to share it with you. And the coverrrrr ahhh. Hope is amazingsauce.
BUT, I have some other news...news that I hope to share soon...news that talks about books...my books...
News that's not the news above is: The Storm Saga #3 is already written, and so is 2.5, as you may or may not know. And that means covers and titles and release dates! YAY! AND, Our Future (Two Rings #4) is releasing on the 25th of this month! This series was my very first, and though it's not perfect and bumpy and not edited very well, I want to see it through. And I hope you do too. Pearl has grown a lot, and I hope to write more of her and Max somewhere in the future.
