Review: REMEMBRANCE by Michelle Madow

This is the first book I've read this year.

New Hampshire high school junior Lizzie Davenport has been reincarnated from Regency Era, England ... but she doesn't know it yet.

Then Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie's school at the beginning of the year, and she feels a connection to him, almost like she knows him. She can't stop thinking about him, but whenever she tries talking with him about the mysteries behind her feelings, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching him is even more difficult because she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has started to become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can't she seem to get him out of her mind?

Even though Lizzie knows she should let go of her fascination with Drew, the pair of them soon find that fighting fate isn't going to be easy.

Language: I am so proud of Michelle! There was no language is the entire book. Finally, a book that has that!!! There was just, Oh my God I think once. But it was so clean. I loved it.

Romance: Well, Jeremy and Liz kiss a couple of times, one of them not as short as the others. And there is Jeremy getting very clingy. And some of other people kiss them. But it was so clean. Again, I proud of Michelle. And Jeremy is always saying that him and Lix need to hang out more, and all that.

Any other bad things: None, just that Jeremy grabs onto Lix, preventing her from going anywhere. And someone rescues you. (I won't say who, bc that is a spoiler!)

Comments: Oh my gosh. I LOVED this book. It was so clean, and I enjoyed every single minute of it. Michelle Madow made such a great story! And I loved how there weren't people sleeping with each other, or cussing out of the roof, like some other YA books. (I exaggerated a bit, but I was so happy!) And it was self-published, so you can really see that Michelle can actually write, and she didn't have fancy editors helping her. :)
Thank you Michelle for writing such a great book!!! I can't wait to read Vengeance next!
